I do however have a small reservation regarding the date, 15 February male chastity day. I can understand why people want to tie it into Valentine’s Day, latch on to the romantic couples… however I worry that it perpetuates the expectation that men are somehow owed something. By not starting until the 15th I think it builds an expectation that they couldn’t have been locked the day before just because it’s Valentine’s Day and then couples will do what couples do – that the man should get sex… And then the day after the woman gets her reward by locking up the man, as if she would have sex with him the day before as it is duty and then gets what she really wants.
I’m probably thinking far too much into this but it was just the feeling I had. That said, the date has been chosen and I’m grateful for anything that raises awareness and might bring my chosen lifestyle slightly more into the mainstream consciousness. Therefore I wanted to also write some positive things about being in chastity, at least for me:
- You realise that the build up is the most enjoyable part. You stop concentrating so much on the end result and more on the journey as a whole. Instead of focusing on one goal you have a myriad of them. The pleasant horny feeling is never truly far away.
- You then do appreciate the orgasm more when it eventually arrives.
